- Large Kachina Doll - 'Morning Singer' - 16 Inch
|
This American Indian Large Kachina Doll stands over 16 inches tall (over 18 inches including the base), and this Doll is called the 'Morning Singer', has white fur with a dark green or dark brown leather costume (Sorry - Sold Out of the Green, only Brown left). This very large Kachina Doll has a silver Concho, and a double strand necklace and weighs almost two pounds! The 'Morning Singer' is a Kachina that represents early morning or dawn because he appears at dawn and announces news and sings songs to wake the village. This Kachina Doll was made in the USA by a Navajo named L. Vandever. This Doll was hand painted, assembled by hand with feathers and leather accessories. Because these Kachina Dolls are handcrafted, there may be a slight variation between the doll pictured and the one you receive when ordering.
